Co-Op considering sale of life insurance arm

The Co-Operative Financial Services (CFS) is considering selling off its life insurance arm following its merger with Britannia Building Society.

CFS’s life and health insurance arm has assets worth £18bn, the majority of which are in pension and life savings.
